OUR STORY
Like many great ideas, the inspiration for the Porchetta Republic came from a party with friends, sharing food that reminded us of home and time spent together celebrating. Sharing food is what Italians do best, and we wanted to evoke that spirit and re-create the authentic Italian street food experience here in Los Angeles. Our ingredients and family recipes are true to that experience and will transport you to the late night streets of Italy in one bite!

Porchetta [porˈketta]
A savory and moist boneless pork roast of Italian culinary tradition.
Porchetta is an iconic product of both central Italy and the Veneto region in the north.
Across the country, it is typically served hot as a “panino”, or sandwich, and sold by street vendors or “pitchmen”, especially during public events or holidays.
It can also be served as a filling for pizza bianca (“white pizza”), eaten as an entree or sliced as a cold cut for picnic-style sandwiches.
